Never played the first, GTA2 has many, many hours logged on my computers over the years.

I took my son to Gamestop yesterday and found GTA IV in the bin for $8. I thought I’d give it a shot, having played the original back in the day. After playing it for half an hour, I came to the conclusion that it just isn’t the same. It also isn’t something I will let my kids anywhere near. I think I’ll take advantage of the 7-day money back offer on used games.

I think the only one I tried was Vice City. After about 3o minutes I realized that every single mechanic of the game was poor. Shooting was crap. Driving was crap. The only thing setting it apart was the sound track and the size of the city. I also find the subject matter to be too crass for my tastes.
